Our palm baskets are woven Morocco. The palm leaves are from trees and plants that grow wild in the countryside.
They are harvested and dried in the sunshine then the palm leaves are woven into strips and the strips are then sewn together to make up the baskets.
Depending on the size, it takes 3-4 hours to make each basket.
The leather handles are a by-product from meat production (cow) and is also hand sewn to the baskets.
The twine for sewing the handles is pulled through bee’s wax to make for smoother stitches through the leather and palm leaves.

Every bag is unique and there are slight discrepancies in size due to the nature of the product and handmade production process.

Processing time approx 3 - 5 working days
Please note, at the back of the basket, top side there is a twist in the weave, this is how all the baskets are finsihed off, it is not a fault.
